In-clinic whitening
Your gums are shielded, a professional-strength gel is applied, and it is activated in three short cycles. The whole appointment takes about 90 minutes.
Most people lift three to five shades. We photograph the starting shade so the change is measured, not guessed at.
Take-home trays
We can make custom trays from an impression of your teeth, with gel to use for an hour a day over two weeks. The result is similar, it just takes longer.
Trays are also the cheapest way to top up later, which is why some people do both.
What whitening will not fix
It does not change the colour of crowns, veneers or fillings, so if you have them at the front the shades will need reviewing afterwards.
Grey banding from tetracycline and single dark teeth after old injuries respond poorly. Veneers or internal bleaching suit those better, and we will say so.

How long does it last?
Usually one to three years. It depends almost entirely on how much tea, coffee and tobacco follows it.
Will my teeth be sensitive?
Some sensitivity to cold for a day or two is common and settles by itself. We use a desensitising gel afterwards to reduce it.
Is it safe for enamel?
Professionally applied whitening does not damage enamel. Unsupervised high-strength kits bought online can burn gums, which is the real risk.
