Meera opened the clinic in 2014 after eight years in hospital practice. She handles implants, crowns and full-mouth rehabilitation, and sees most of the patients who arrive nervous.

Anish does the root canals, including the retreatments other clinics have given up on. He has been with Sunrise since 2017.

I had put off a root canal for two years because I was frightened of it. Dr. Kulkarni explained every step before she did it and stopped whenever I raised my hand. It was over in one sitting and I felt silly for waiting so long.
Took my daughter here after a bad experience elsewhere. Nobody rushed her, they let her sit in the chair and look at the instruments first. She now asks when the next visit is.
Got aligners at 41, which I thought was ridiculous at my age. Eighteen months later it is done and the cost was exactly what was written on the plan at the start. No extras appeared along the way.
Two implants after losing molars. The waiting between stages is long and they were upfront about that from day one rather than overselling it. Chewing properly again after years.

Before you come in
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Appointments mean you are not waiting, so please call ahead if you can. We keep slots free each day for pain and emergencies, and we will always try to see you the same day if you are hurting.
What happens at a first visit?
A full examination, an X-ray if it is needed, and a written plan with the cost of each option. No treatment is started at the first visit unless you are in pain and want it dealt with.
I am genuinely scared of the dentist. Can you help?
Yes, and you are in good company. Tell us when you book. We allow extra time, explain everything before it happens, and agree a stop signal. Plenty of our patients arrived after years of avoiding it.
Do you accept insurance or cashless claims?
We provide itemised invoices and treatment reports for reimbursement claims. We do not process cashless corporate claims directly — payment is by cash, card or UPI at the clinic.
Is there parking?
Two-wheeler parking is right outside. There is car parking in the basement of Sunrise Plaza, entered from the side lane off Baner Road.
Do you treat children?
Yes, from around age three. First visits for children are short and mostly about getting comfortable in the chair rather than doing anything to them.
