Our story
How the clinic started
Sunrise Dental Clinic opened on Baner Road in 2014 with one chair, one dentist and a waiting room that fit four people.
Dr. Meera Kulkarni had spent eight years in hospital practice and had noticed the same thing over and over: patients were not avoiding dentists because of the drill. They were avoiding them because they did not understand what was being done to them, and they did not trust the bill at the end.
So the clinic was built around fixing those two things. Everything is explained before it happens. Every cost is written down before it is incurred. If a treatment will not work for you, we say so, even when it is the expensive one.
Twelve years on there are three dentists, three chairs and a great many families who came in for one filling and have been sending their parents and children ever since. The waiting room is bigger. The rest has not changed.

Meera opened the clinic in 2014 after eight years in hospital practice. She handles implants, crowns and full-mouth rehabilitation, and sees most of the patients who arrive nervous.
Dr. Anish Deshpande
Endodontist
BDS, MDS (Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics)
Anish does the root canals, including the retreatments other clinics have given up on. He has been with Sunrise since 2017.
Dr. Sneha Rane
Orthodontist
BDS, MDS (Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics)
Sneha runs the braces and aligner cases for teenagers and adults, and holds the Saturday clinic so students do not miss school.
